We believe in supporting our community and giving back, both locally and globally. And there are a few different ways in which we love to do this.
Who Gives a Crap
Not only does WGAC use completely recycled materials to make their toilet paper, they also donate 50% of all profits to WaterAid to build toilets and sewerage infrastructure in the developing world.
They are committed to providing better sanitation facilities to locations that suffer massive illness and death due to poor sanitation-related issues. They are also working hard to minimise the amount of trees cut down in the name of toilet paper, and saving water by using eco-friendly manufacturing. We think these guys are worth getting behind. Pun only slightly intended.
Give a person a fish and they will eat for a day, teach a person to fish and they will eat for a life time.
The Prasad Project is a philanthropic organisation that provides developing communities holistic support and education so that they can thrive.
Prasad have projects reaching from health care and HIV/AIDs support to disaster relief, and even support groups for women in local communities. By providing eye and dental care to communities that would otherwise have no access to it, or by training farmers in organic farming techniques so that they can have healthier and year-round crops, Prasad work to lift the standard of living within communities throughout the world.
What about at Enerchi?
At Enerchi, we too are working to do our part. In order to save on paper, we have moved to paperless receipts wherever possible. Request to have yours emailed to you instead of printed next time you're in. And we recycle and reuse wherever possible. We even have a recycling program for our pharmavials. When you're done with your herbs bring in your used containers to be recycled! Every little bit helps to reduce waste and support the planet.
We also source sustainable living products wherever we can. Check them out here.
